San Francisco
Over Labor day weekend we went to San Francisco . We had a hotel right on Fisher Men Wharf. It was cool because on pier 39 there were sea lions. There were over 100 of them. My favorite part was going to Ripley's Believe it or Not. That is were there are lot of weird things like a horned man and a 8 1/2 foot man. It was very interesting. We spent about 2 hours in there. Another cool thing was going to Ghiradelli Square. There are 3 Ghiradelli shops at Ghiradelli Square. We also went to China Town. There were a lot a Asian things there.

Eureka
Saturday I went to Eureka with Grandma, Grandpa, and my mom. It was a really nice day. It was about 75 degrees and sunny. We went to the market sale and we bought the grand lamb again. The eureka fair is a really small fair. There was only 40 hogs and 6 lamb and 8 steers. We bought the grand for $11.50. That was a good deal because we got the one in Kalispell for $11.75. After the market sale we went to Casa Mexico. That's a Mexican restaurant in Kalispell.

The Grand
On Saturday I went to the market sale with Grandpa. There were so many hogs. There where about 150 hogs. We had to wait for all of them to pass because we always buy the grand champion lamb. Once we got to the lambs I got to raise my hand for the betting. Les Schwab was trying to buy it from us but we won. We got it for $11.75 a pound. It was 140 pounds. Last year we got it for over $12 so this year wasn't so bad.
Silverwood
Last week I went to Silverwood with my friend Rylee. It was a nice day. It was about 70 degrees out so it wasn't a very hot day but that was nice to not have it too hot. The first ride we did was called the Scrambler. That is a ride where you are in a cart and you go close to the sides so it feels like you are going to fly out of the ride. After that, we went on a roller coaster called Timer Terror. It has a lot of drops so it gave you lots of butterflies in your stomach. We also went on some rides where you got wet. The first water ride was the log ride. You are in a fake log and you go along a "river". Then there is a big drop and you get splashed. The other water ride was called Thunder Canyon. You are in a circular shaped thing and it spins you around and you go over humps. I got SUPER wet! After that we went to the water park. It wasn't such a good day to do that because it was a little chilly so we didn't stay there very long. I went on another roller coaster called Tremors. That is fun because you go on a couple big drops and you go under ground twice and you go over a bridge and under a bride. Tremors and Timber Terror are both wooden roller coasters. After that day we went on a total of 12 rides plus the water park.

Volleyball Camp Part 3
If you haven't read part one and part two scroll drown and read them first if you wan to read this page. On Wednesday and Thursday we did a Nukem tournament. Nukem is a game we play where you throw a volley ball over the net then you catch it and throw it back over the net. If you don't catch then you are out. Whoever team gets all of their opponent's players out first wins. On Wednesday and Thursday we played about 5 games each. There were 8 teams. After we played all of those games we played more Friday morning. Wednesday and Thursday were games that were seeding us. Then or Friday we did the real games. Our team was in the 2nd seed. The first seed was Coach Elliot's team. Coach Elliot is the head coach. In seeding we lost against them but in tournaments we beat them. In the Nukem tournament we got second place because we lost against the orange team, but we at least beat Coach Elliot's team! The winner got Gatorade. After we had the final Nukem games we went home.

Volleyball Camp Part 2
This story is continued from Volleyball Camp. If you haven't read that scroll drown and read that first. The minute to win it games were really hard. One was called "sticky situation". You had to bounce a ping-pong ball onto a piece of bread covered in peanut butter and make it stick. The bread was on a table that was 4ft. high. You had to do that in a minute. I failed but one girl got it in the peanut butter in six seconds! It was amazing. Another game was ''snack attack". You had 36 cups and you had to stack them up and then put them down in a minute. The hard part was they didn't tell you how many cups were on the bottom. I got it in 58 seconds. Another game I can't remember what it was called but you had a belt that had a banana on it and you had an orange. You had to hit the orange with the banana by swinging your hips and the orange had to get in a 4 by 4 box. I got it in 56 seconds. It was hard. All those games were on Monday night. On Tuesday nigh we had different minute to win it games except they all failed except one. On the one that worked you had to kick empty pop cans into a cooler standing about two feet away. I got 1 and my partner got 1. That was the only one that worked. There were prizes for the winners. For sticky situation the winner got a jar of peanut butter. The banana and orange winner got a bundle of bananas. For snack attack the winner got a thing of chips and for the kick the can I was the winner. I got a energy drink called Kick Start. ( TO BE CONTINUED AGAIN)
Volleyball Camp
Last week was volleyball camp. I got there Sunday and left on Friday. It way different from 5th and 6th grade camp. My cabin this time was Destiny Inn. Libby, Rylee, Tori, Katy, and Mc Kenna were in my cabin. We also had a counselor named Nina. Every day we woke up at 7:30 and we got ready for dock devotions. After dock devotions we had breakfast. Then we had about 10 min. to get ready for the bus. We would get on the bus at 9:00 and go to Bigfork High school gym. the camp was 5th-9th grade so they divided us into groups by age. There were three groups to be in. Setting, bumping, and hitting. We spent three hours in the gym then we would go back to camp and have lunch. After lunch we had 20 min. to let our food digest then we got back on the bus. This time the groups were bumping, serving, and hitting. This time we had only two hours in the gym. After our two hours in the gym we had "pop talk". Pop talk is where we had popsicles and we talked. after pop talk we would get back on the bus and head back to camp and we had free time. Libby and I took showers and then hung out in our cabin for free time. After free time we had dinner and then we got ready for bible study. After bible study we had activity. Monday and Tuesday we had minute to win it.................. To be Continued.

5th and 6th Grade Camp
Two weeks ago I went to fifth and sixth grade camp. It was on Flathead Lake. It was really fun. It was sleep away camp so I had my own cabin. My cabin was called Happy Hearts Cabin. My cabin mates were Netty, Libby and Skyler. Skyler is from California. We had two counselors. Their names were Nichole and Kenzie. They were really nice. Every day they had the BEST food. That was probably my favorite part. We went swimming twice a day. We were slit into groups for athletics, bible study, and handy crafts. I was team 5. In handy crafts we made a dream catcher. It is cool. For athletics we were playing a game against another team. Whoever won got one point. Whichever team had the most points by the end of camp got first place. We got 2nd place. We also had activity. That's were you can compete against other campers playing horseshoes, chess, checkers, or ping-pong. I entered in checkers. I got 2nd place. I got a shell that said 2nd Checkers Trinity Camp 2014. At night we had campfire it was really fun because it was a time to get together and sing. On Thursday we had movie night. We watched The Lego Movie. It wasn't that good but I fell asleep.

Last Day of School
Wednesday was the last day of school. We scrubbed our desks and lockers, we signed yearbooks, we gave out awards, and we did thank you notes to John and Jan thanking them for our fishing trip. We also had a class auction with a Crusader Credits. We get Crusader Credits by doing our classroom jobs. I got a walkie talkie for 225 Crusader Credits. I also got some little things too and I still have 300 of them. I got everyone signed on my yearbook. The awards were the Fruit of the Spirit. A couple days ago we wrote down who we thought showed the most of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. We wrote down individuals for each fruit. Mrs. Braaten printed an awards for everyone. Matthew and I got all the fruits. We got the main fruit award. After we did everything we had chapel. After that we went home. All the girls were invited for a sleepover at my house to celebrate our graduation. To Be Continued.
Fishing
On Tuesday y class went fishing at Pine Grove Pond. We left at 9:15. Papa came with us. There was another school there. It was unexpected. It was four grades plus us there. We used worms for bait. This one kids from the other school caught a fish that was 13.2 lb! It was a rainbow crossed with a cutthroat. It was HUGE! I caught one fish. It was small so I let it go.Papa brought his grill so that we could grill up some hot dogs for lunch. It was a fun day even though we didn't catch that many fish.

Last week we cruised to Alaska. Grandma, Grandpa, Ganten, Gracie, Gavin, Uncle Mark, Auntie Beth, and my parents went. We got on two weeks from tomorrow. We got on the ship by 1:00. We ate at the buffet and then Ganten and I we to explore the ship. The whole week Ganten and I were off on our own. The only time we saw our parents were twice: Once at dinner and once to get clothes. The kids had their own rooms. We had a room without windows. Grandma and Grandpa had their own room. Auntie Beth and Uncle Mark did too. My parents also had their own room. Ganten and I swam A LOT. Most of the time we would either be swimming or at the kids center doing crafts or a fussball. The ports we hit were Ketchican, Junea, and Skagway. We didn't do much in Ketchican. All we did was shop. In Junea we went dog sledding it was really cool to watch the dogs pull us. They pulled 7 adults and me! there were 12 dogs. Their favorite thing to do is to pull that sled! In Skagway Everyone in the family went on a train ride because Grandma had never been on a train. The train went through the Klondike Gold Rush place. We also hit Victoria but we got in at 7:00 pm and we left at 12:00 pm so we didn't do anything there. We had two days at sea. The day after we left and the day after Skagway. We got home the next Sunday so we had a week of cruising.

The Next Day
The next day we woke up and had pancakes and bacon. we made a rubber band bracelet for Joshua because we were going to his birthday party. His birthday party was at Jumping Jacks. After we made his bracelet we got Cayla ready to go home. We gathered all her stuff and then we took her to Joshua's birthday party. Jumping Jacks is a big blowup bouncy castle place. It has one bouncy castle, Three bouncy slides, two huge basketballs and a basketball hoop, and tunnels with obstacles in it. We played tag and "Hit Mr. Herzog( aka Joshua's dad) with a basketball." It was lots of fun. after that we ate pizza and Joshua opened presents. We got him a wolf puzzle because his favorite animal is a wolf. After the party was over, Cayla's dad picked her up.
Sleepover!
Yesterday my friend Cayla came over to my house for a sleepover. we have been wanting her to come over for a long time because we finished a book called Eragon there is a movie that goes along with it so we have been wanting to watch it. We also have been wanting to make rubber band bracelets with each other. After school Cayla and I walked home from school to my house and we went downstairs to shoot my bow. after that we got our snow gear on and Cayla and I walked to Trinity to play on the snow hill. We brought sleds. After awhile at Trinity we went over to Russell. We didn't do much because it was already almost time to go back home but we did play on the dinosaur slide that Cayla has been wanting to go on. After that we went home and had some dinner and then went hot tubing. We played doctor in there. After that we had a cup of hot chocolate and watched Eragon. The movie wasn't that bad except it didn't really follow the book. Look at my next post for details about the next day.
Don't Forget....
For all those people that forgot to turn their clocks forward last night here is your reminder! Spring forward!
A New Kid
Our class has been hearing that we were going to get a new kid in our class. Mrs. Braaten said it was going to be a boy. All the girls were sad because we only have six girls in our class and we had nine boys. Now we were going to have ten boys and nine girls. It is terrible! We figured out Keaton knows him. his name is Teegan. he came to our class Wednesday. He really liked our school. He came from Peterson. He came to our school the following Monday. After he settled in we figured out we were getting another boy! He came to our school in second grade and in third grade but he left last year. Now he came back. His name is Kyler. Now the girls are really outnumbered with 11 boy and only six girls! Now we just hope that we get more girls!

Ice Fishing
On Thursday our fourth grade class went ice fishing on Peterson Lake. They carved 60 holes for us to fish in. We used maggots for bait. I had white ones. Some of them were still alive! It was hard to bait the hooks. We had to put about 4 maggots on the hook. Once we got them on we would put the hook in the hole and swing the barrel down and wait till the hook dropped all the way down. Once it dropped all the way down you swing the barrel back up and reel the line in only half a turn and wait until you see the tip of the rod wiggle. Once you see it wiggle you reel it in and see if you have a fish. Everyone caught at least one fish. You could keep however many perch you wanted. We kept all of the perch we got. Only the big ones we took home for eating. We kept the other ones for dissecting. Some day we are going to dissect them. I caught one fish. It was about six inches. The ice was about one foot thick! They said they try to keep it ten to a foot thick.
