R.I.P.

I just wanted to let know that today is a sad day at the Munsingers as our special little dog Willie got out of our backyard and was hit by a car. So he is now free to run and bark up a storm up in heaven. He was 8 years old. He was a registered Pekingese AKA William Tells It ALL who we adopted in 2001. Such a short life in dog years but he was sure LOVED.

Kylie's BIG surprise!

We celebrated Kylie's "early" Birthday on Saturday (Actual bday is 10/8) and this is what we had as our big surprise for her. It was so so fun! And the weather was BEEEEAUTIFUL! Sorry about my commentary but you get the idea. THANKS to everyone who came and shared in her BIG day. More pictures coming soon. I promise!

Gone Footballin'

Well it's that time of year ALREADY...Homecoming. So off I go to cheer on my team and see some friends and go to some Alumni meetings. So have a GREAT weekend and see you when I get home next week. Up with Montana!
UPDATE...as of 9/29 and 4 games under our belts the ol' Mighty GRIZ are 4-0...YES, Folks that means UNDEFEATED!!!! YEA!!!!!!!!

Picture update

NO you're not seeing double! We got another tadpole aka "Harry". I wrote to the company when we got "Hoppy" and asked if we could get a tadpole as Hoppy had his hindlegs so was considered a froglet. I thought Kylie might really like seeing a full fledged tadpole and the changes he would go thru. Well they replied right back and apologized and offered to send us a tadpole FREE of charge. Well we got tadpole #2 and sure enough on day two his hindlegs (you can barely see them in the picture. He's the lower one) sprouted and now Hoppy has his front legs. So we have TWO froglets.

We named #2 Harry because for some reason both of them came with this 1 long "hair" on of their faces. Kind of like a crawfish "hair" or a whisker. So Harry it was. you can kind of see his "hair in picture #1" And now Hoppy's "hair" has fallen off. So if Harry's does too we're gonna have a hard time telling them apart!
Ant farm update too. For some reason their plan is to move all the sand up to the top of the enclosure (see the green dividing line?). And as I type this all the sand on the hill to the right has since been moved (these pix are a couple of days old) over to the left side of the enclosure. Geesh! BOY, Would I love to know WHY they're moving and doing all that they do.

I think she deserves a GRAMMY!

Kylie learned this song after ONLY two days of Pre K. Isn't it cute? She loves doing all the sign language best. I especially like the voice inflections and the "itch" on her eye..... PRICELESS!

All these tunnels in only 1 day! See all that "snow" in the top left and right corners? They moved all that piece by pice last night after we went to bed. I jsut keep asking myself...."What is there plan?"

Our new pet(s)...well kind of

Yes, we got an ANT FARM! Well we FINALLY got our ants (it's been too hot to ship them this summer). I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend one of these things. If not only for your kids but adults too. These little buggers are amazing. We got a tube of them and wouldn't you know they sat in my office over the weekend because no one thought to call me even tho' it's stamped "LIVE animals" inside! Oh well some were still moving so I thought we would be ok. They said there are 25 harvester ants enclosed. Well when we dumped them in only about 5 were moving around. Cr@P! We're gonna have to order more. Well we put them in a cool dark room as instructed and by morning we counted 15 (at least) moving around and working. They had moved all the dead ones down and were already building tunnels. They're totally cool to watch!!!. Such a plan...and I wonder how they know to do all that they're doing?? So more pix to come but my camera battery went dead. So all you get are set up pictures for now.

1st Day of Pre K

Kylie actually started Pre K on Wednesday Sept. 10th. There are 16 kids in her class (more girls then boys YEA!) and she goes to a private Lutheran school only 2 blocks from our house. We can walk in less then 5 minutes! So far I LOVE LOVE LOVE it (I wanna stay and play even!)and Kylie is like like liking it :-) I ask her everyday if she's going back and she smiles and says YES! We love her teacher and all the creative things they have been doing and it's only been 3 days since she started. I'm so glad we made the decision for her to go here and that we are able to send her here ($$$). I always said "Public school was good enough for me so it should be good enough for my kid"....well it is but I truly think (and the reason we chose private) was that Kylie will get so much more opportunity here. So time only tells. But so far so good!


Kylie has already been trying this "Momma I'm too sleepy to go to school today."
"Ummm sorry, Kylie but it's the LAW!" She only goes MWF 8:30-11:30!
We tell her "it's the LAW because in the past we have "tried" daycare/school and have been a 3 time dropout. Not a bad thing I know but still she needs to know that this is not an optional go if I want to thing. So now we tell her since she is almost 5 it's the LAW that she goes to school.
Well this was her response to me on Friday.....
"Well who wrote this LAW anyway?" Oh my heck! How funny is that?!!!!

Update.....we won we won we won!!!! Thanks to some pretty good game play by the GRIZ and a LOUSY place kicker on Cal Poly (who by the way missed a 23yd. field goal! bahahaha) we won by 2 points. A safety we made late in the 2nd half too.

So home next Saturday against So. UT.
