How old is she?

Kylie says.......
"Don't worry momma I'll be a teenager before you know it" EEEEEKK!
"Daddy, I Loooove you and you're a genius!"
"Momma QUIT arguing with me"
"Momma the boys at school were being wacky"
"Momma I love you MORE" normally she says "I love you momma" but I always say "No Kylie I love you More" So she has already caught on to that.
"GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I WIN!" what Kylie yells as she races Daddy to the ottoman in the front room for books at night.
"Piggy back, Huggy back, Horsey back or crazy ride" What Kylie tells Daddy of the type of ride she wants to her bed at night. Glad it's him not me!
"I want my usually" Refers to whenever we go to McD's for lunch or what she wants for her breakfast in bed. Yes, she does eat her "first" breakfast in bed (granola/fruit bar, apricots, fruit chews and a vitamin) all while she's snuggling with Mom and Dad and watching cartoons. Next breakfast is after she's dressed and really hungry.
"I was born in China!"
"I'm not going to have a tummy baby. I'm going to China to get my baby like you did Momma. And you're going to help me take care of it"

When you play TOO hard...

Kylie's first day of "school"

New school shoes and everything. She was so excited to wear them. And she knows they are ONLY for school.

Well so far so good. Kylie is really settling in to "School". We call it school even tho' it's really only daycare. But school sounds so much more grown up. She hasn't cried and is still pretty shy but says she likes it and we haven't had any battles about going YEA!!!!!!! I thought it would be fun to take her picture in front of our new tree each year to see how both of them grow. Our Pookie is growing up........

And how was your Monday?

Western Outdoor owner (Uncle) Mark Pirrie uses a fire extinguisher to put out a roof fire outside a second-story apartment window above the business on Main Street on Monday. Pirrie was successful at stopping the roof fire, which started from a burning flower pot. The Fire Department responded to the incident, and said in a press release that the fire was caused by “improper disposal of smoking materials.” No one was injured.

Improper my .......

It was a DUMB @SS smoker who thought he could get around the NO smoking policy by putting out a cig in a potted plant. And we've since learned to never do this (a friend burnt their house DOWN doing it) because of the fertilizers in the dirt make it go boom! Thank goodness it was sitting outside the window on the sill. So they only had to tear up some of the awning shingles.

Yea!!! Brother/Uncle Mark SAVED the day! And How was your Monday?!

Lesson learned.....potting soil and cigs make FIRE!

From Kylie "I want to be a fisher-man, a Doctor, a nurse, a teacher, a mail carrier,a phone carrier (not sure what this is?), a hotel worker ("you know work at a hotel mom"), a dial caller ("when you dial something and someone answers you"...that's a dial caller), a meeting person, EVERYTHING Nana does ("most of the time...NOT all of the time tho' "), go out in the "field" like daddy does, a fixer ("you know to fix things")" and and and and.............................

So there you have it... Nana and Poppa and Grandpa and Gramma PLEASE save more money because I think we have a LOT of college ahead of us........................

3rd times a charm...right?

Well here we go AGAIN! Miss Kylie is starting what we're calling "pre" preschool. We had her all psyched to start school this Fall but alas the poor kid missed another birthday cutoff and is not old enough to start official preschool. Why the heck do you need a cutoff date for preschool anyway? Grrrr! So she's going to the daycare/school. It's actually a structured program and she'll be going MWF from 9-12. So will be great! So wish us luck!

So here's the conversation I had with Kylie after having a sleepover and spending two days at her Nana's......

Momma: Kylie did you miss me?
Kylie: No!
Momma: You didn't how come?
Kylie: Because I just love my Nana (aaaah!)
Momma: Well then did you miss your Daddy?
Kylie: Yes, because I just love him more.*

I sure hope she loves him more when he's taking her car keys away :-)
