Funny things said and done

When asked to go get something..."No wait I'll show you". "Ya know this isn't the 1st time I've been in the kitchen?!"

"Goodnight K. I love you."  "No, I love you more!" "No, I love you more then more." "No, Mama I love you more then MORE and MORE!" "But I love you the MOST!"  Nightly routine.

"Mama let's see what floats in daddy's beer. (giggle giggle)" We do this a lot. Kind of like  "Will it float or will it sink?" on the Letterman show. HaHa Daddy DOES NOT like this either!  We like to use veggies. peice of candy, bread, crackers, cheese and and and....

"K SQUIRREL!"  Out she comes running at full speed to get our squirt bottle to shoot the squirrel climbing on the bird feeder.  So so funny to watch her dance around and squirt it.  STUPID squirrels won't learn either.

Daddy and K playing Wii golf.  "YEA! I got a BOOGIE"  "No K, you got a BOGIE." Follow up...."YEA, I just got a Double Boogie!"

Stay tuned MORE to come......

Ah cute!

We went over to the ranch a few weeks back. And K was so excited to feed a "bum" calf.  We named "her" Razzy.  Not sure if it was a girl or boy (we didn't check to be honest)? And we named it after K's teacher Mrs. Rasmussen :-)

Can you do this?

YUM-O

Can you say MEAT eater?!  We went up to the B@ck Room for dinner and K LOVED the ribs.

1st grade History Fair Project

K was studying Lewis and Clark and for the History Fair at school they had to make something "used" during that time.  Well the teacher sent home a folder full of ideas and how to do's. So this is what K AND Daddy came up with.  Since Momma did the mask project a couple of weeks ago Daddy got this one. And IMPRESSIVE they were.... an Indian drum.  Excuse the "greasy" looking hair..she JUST got out of the shower :-)

Baseball = rain

Well you know it's "Spring" when baseball season starts and so does the crummy, drippy, stormy weather.  So yesterday was cousin Ganten's 9th  birthday and after track practice (we JUST made it to our car before it started POURING rain!) I told K to go and call him and sing Happy Birthday. Well she did only to find out he was at baseball practice.

Here's what she said:
K: Momma, Uncle Mark says Gant is at baseball practice.
Momma: Yes, I figured so much so.....
K: But Momma look out at the weather (POURING DOWN rain!!)...giggle giggle giggle!!!
Momma: That's why YOU don't play baseball K.
K: That's ok. I don't like baseball anyway.
Duuuuuuh!

New style?

Holiday Monday

In this publicity image released by 20th Century ...
Look what we went and saw today.... *Rio*.  So so cute!  We met up with Anna C. and her mom Janae for lunch at Apple~bees. And then Mathew K. (from K's class) and his mom Karen met us all at the movie.  Highly recommend passing on the 3D...2D was JUST fine.

Then K and I went to B*skin Robbins for an after movie treat. K had Chocolate Fudge and Momma had Jamoca Almond Fudge  D-Lish!

And now for the hour or so we have before K has to be to her 1st track practice.  This will be her 2nd yr. and we're so excited. This is a free program sponsored every year by Three Rivers B@nk and last only the month of May.  The King family and bank have been putting this program on almost forever...Momma was in it a "few" years ago. :-) Practices lasts for 1 month which is just about the right amount of  time.  But so far today has been cloudy, cool and spitting rain :-(  So might be a long month???!!!!

Well I'm trying to get K to write some on the  blog...want her to write a review for the movie.  Stay tuned!

Happy Monday everyone!

Towel animals from our cruise

Can you tell what they all are??? HINT.... Penguin, elephant, hamster, monkey, bunny.  In no particular order :-)

Easter gift and...

Mama: K here is an Easter gift for you.
K: (all excited and opens box) DISAPPOINTMENT ah they're ONLY shoes.
Mama: What you don't like them?
K: Yah but where is my REAL Easter present from YOU?
Mama: Ha! It's not my job to get you REAL Easter presents. You better hope the Easter Bunny brings you something tomorrow.

From the mouth of a 1st grader HaHaHa......
We were cleaning up K's room and putting games away tonight...
Mama: If you organize the drawer better they will all fit instead of stuffing them in.
K: But they ARE organised, SEE.
Mama: Look here, see (cards all fall out) this?
Kylie: I know look at the cards all falling out?
Mama:Well if you had a rubber band around them they wouldn't fall out.  Where's the rubber band I gave you?
K: Well apparently it fell off....
Duuuh Mama moment AGAIN!

Summer is gonna be BUSY

Well I signed up Miss K for some of her summer classes. She so enjoyed Kids College at FVCC that we got our act together faster this year so as not to miss out due to a full class.   K went thru the whole brochure and marked all the ones she liked. Then Mama went to the calendar and figured it out.  All the classes are either in the AM or PM and last 3 hours. So not too much.  She is taking one each week for 3 weeks so still lots of playtime and just chilling.

Here is what she's taking (well we hope as I haven't heard to the contrary).

Let's Speak French

Learning to speak French is fun. Amaze your family and friends* by sharing some French words and phrases.Through simple songs, games, art, food, and stories, you will be introduced to the French language and culture. Both new students and those who visited with us last summer are welcome.
*This is the part she's morst excited about...HAHA.

Art Around the World (She took last summer and LOVED it!)
Journey across the globe to discover wonderful art from other cultures. Travel to a different country each day to learn
about their art style, use of colors, textures and techniques. Use your creativity to complete projects from different
materials each day. Pack your bags for exciting adventure!

Galapagos Island Adventure
Discover the wonders of the Galapagos Islands. Explore their strange volcanic surfaces and learn about the unique plants and animals that live there. Meet “Lonesome George” and make your own glow in the dark rock tortoises, topographical map of the islands, stick bugs, and volcanoes that really explode!

She is also taking Hula again this summer. Her 3rd year thru Park and Rec. Only 1 week for 1hr/day  Would love for her to take lessons during the school year BUT...like everything else is Miss K's world it falls on Wednesdays and we just can't squeeze one more thing on that day :-(

Still trying to convince her to go to our church's day camp in July since she is finally old enough this year but all day seems a bit much to her. So we'll see if we can get some buddies lined up to go. Any other gonna 2nd graders interested? Let me know...it's FREE!

Ok, so if you would like to be 7 1/2 again and have your summer free to go to camps raise your hands. I know I would. It's GREAT to be a kid XoXo

Wrong spelling Mama

I was reading this blog "Where the Wild THYME Blows" today...why because look at this cute cute China doll referral and without missing a beat Kylie says"That's NOT how you spell TIME".  It is so nice that Kylie can read most anything.  But then again sometimes she reads things we wished she hadn't HaHa!  She is a quick one.

Welcome Back...2011!

Hello, My name is Susan and I am the original founder, creator, writer of this blog. I have decided it is ABOUT time to start again. That and I have Kylie to REMIND me, hound me and make me post to it.  So here goes.....

To catch you up....

It is the year 2011 and Miss K is now 7 and 1/2 yrs. old. Please note the 1/2 is a very important addition. I once remember how K would never say she was 1/2 anything. Just couldn't accept it. NOW we have a countdown to her 1/2 birthday and HAVE to add to her current age.

K is almost thru 1st grade....Yes, Yes I know you missed most of her Kindergarten year :-(. Oh well it's only getting better.  She is *back* and is still at Trinity and LOVING it.  Long story on the *back* part so let's just say she is happy and so are Mom and Dad.

Hmmm, we still have Lucky dog and he is still LUCKY to be alive and living with us.  He is now 11 and getting crotchier (sp?) by the day. He loves Mark and Nana and is only here to torment my life!

Mom and Dad are doing well and anxiously awaiting the arrival of warmer/DRIER weather in the Flathead.  See how I didn't say "Spring"...well I think this is Spring in the Flathead and we all just forget how stinking crummy it can be most days.

Easter weekend is upon us and we have 4 days of NOTHING to do...YEA!  K is off to Nana and Papa's for sleepover. Mom and Dad HOPE to be able to sleep in...tho' in our maturity we seem to be up earlier then we had hoped.

We hope you have a peaceful and LOVING holiday weekend and I hope you will enjoy my updating of the Munsinger Family of 3 blog. Fingers crossed I will do it!  If not it's K's fault for not MAKING me do it :-)
