And we're OFF!!!!

So long....Farewell...Auf Wiedersein Goodbye...... The bags are packed, the alarmS (yes,we set multiples for JUST IN CASE) and the check list is double checked. First Glacier International Airport for a 6 AM departure Yaaaaawn!.....Salt Lake City to change planes (See you in a week Kristen, Ellen and Herb!!)and then we should arrive into Los Angeles at 9AM (Yea Shellie!!!). Where we hang out overnight in Long Beach and then board the ship on Sunday afternoon. So have a GREAT week everyone and I look forward to talking to you when we returned all rested (I HOPE!) and tanned AND with sparkling GREAT attitudes to help us get thru the blahs till SUMMER!

One red suitcase for each of us. How come Kylie's has so much more room? Oh Yah...her clothes are waaay smaller then Mark's and mine :-) And this is enough clothes for 10 days with out washing! A lot of stuff!



Look what I did on Saturday.....packed ALL our suitcases. Well I still have to add toiletries and dress clothes but still that's a Friday night activity!
Sooooooooo We're (almost) outta here! This time next week we'll be cruising toward Mexico and SUNSHINE!

Lessons learned.....

If your child falls asleep at 6:30PM and you choose to put her to bed for the night. BEWARE that she will awake at 4:30 AM READY to go for the day! And there are NO cartoons on at that hour

Even Kylie is tired of SNOW boots, SNOW pants and hats and gloves! Ok, so this was taken at Bitterroot Lake a week or so ago. And it was a beautiful SUNNY day but c'mon shorts,t-shirts and flip flops sound like a whole lot more fun!



PS. Only TWO WEEKS or 14 DAYS till we're outta here!

Momma's Birthday card

Dr. Seuss aka Cat in the Hat

So here's the "special" visitor we had at the Dr. Suess birthday party. Kylie wouldn't go near him so I thought the next best thing would be a picture of him :-) Kylie kept asking all throught the party when Dr. Suess was gonna show up?
PS> Dr. Suess would have been 102 years old. His actual birthday was Friday March 2.



And yes here is a picture of the dreaded papercut that caused havoc ALL day Saturday. Amazingly it was ALL better on Sunday YEAAAAAAAAAAA!

Quick call a doctor!

Well Miss Kylie suffered her first paper cut today and you would think we would have to amputate! She walked around most of the morning moaning it hurt and holding it straight up in the air. And wouldn't you know it...it was her "sucky" finger aka her right index finger so she couldn't even put it in her mouth. And when I mean ALL morning we went to the library for the Dr. Suess's Birthday party (pictures tomorrow) she sat there on Mark's lap watching the movie and holding her finger up. So when we got home Mark slathered it in neosporin and put two teeny bandaids on it and all day she asked "when it would be better and could she take off the bandaids?" So I told her when it's dark. So alas at dark the bandaids came off and amazingly it felt all better until it pulled apart again and round two started. She did take a nice warm bath and it felt better or enough so she could resume sucking it.


Oh the day in the life of a three year old.......More of this to come I'm sure!

PS......

I forgot to mention that tomorrow there is a birthday party for Dr. Seuss at our local library. Not sure if it's an official birthday or just a good excuse to celebrate him. Anyway we're going for cake, movies and a "special" visitor. Kylie is sooooo excited. She has been asking everyday since we heard about it "is TODAY the day?". I hope to get some pictures to post tomorrow.

One step forward one step back....

Well, I thought we had turned a corner on staying dry at night but I guess we haven't YET. So If you ask Kylie "are you dry this morning?" She will reply ever so firmly "Ya know momma some people DO have accidents!" Well harrrrumph I say! Oh well it WILL come I know.

So I just got goosebumps as I logged into the blog and the weather ticker on the top said "Hawaii 77 and MT 27" BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Dreamin'

Aaaaah! I am SOOOOOO ready to go on vacation. I NEED some sun and warmth! See the current temperature above Brrrrrrrrr! So my vacation countdown is finally seeming like the end is in sight. Only 3 more weeks and we're off to Mexico Whoo Hooo!
