The "boys" of the house
This is William Tells It All aka Willie. Yuppers, he has the fancy name because he's was a show dog who just couldn't cut it in the ring. Guess the pressures were too much. He came from a rescue Pekingese group out of Washington.
Lucky aka our pound puppy (he's a little of this and a little of something else). We think he might have some bulldog in him? He came from the local animal shelter.
Both are Pekingese and are 7 years old and have been in our family since 2001.

Dancing with my Daddy
Kylie and Daddy were dancing in our front room (before the new curtains were put up). Kylie loves music and anytime she can get her Daddy to pick her up (which isn't too hard most days!).
Kylie is now 3 1/2 + years old but she still WILL NOT claim the 1/2 part. So funny...if anyone asks how old she is I say "3 1/2" and she will IMMEDIATELY pipe up "I am NOT ! I'm only 3!".
This Friday Kylie is going to Nana and Poppa's for a sleep over (Yea! And THANK YOU B & B!) I have to work at the Griz Golf Scramble and Mark is going to home improve while he is kid less for the full day. We heard a "rumor" that our contractor just "MIGHT" make it over to our house next week to work on our covered porches we are building. But again he told us 3 weeks ago he'd be about 2 weeks. So till we see the whites of his eyes it's folding chairs and a card table since Mark won't let me buy new patio furniture till the construction is done. We're covering the back deck and then putting pergola over part of the brick patio and across the front of the house for some architectural ummph! and then I'm getting a hot tub...I hope to this Fall anyway. So after that we're done with major renovations and spending money. So stay tune for pictures of progess.

"Elvis" is HOME!
Well (almost) today (June 14th,2004) was the first time we saw the face of our own little Elvis aka "Gooey Hooey May" or as the Chinese would call her Guo, Hui Mei and as her proud Daddy and Momma now call her Kylie Mei Munsinger. Our Pookie! I received the call at work that our referral was in and we had a daughter. I rushed home to open the E-mail and there she was and ALL that HAIR. So today in honor of Flag Day we celebrate meeting Miss Kylie for the first time if only to see her face. And we mourn for the loss of our dear friend Cal Robinson. A Man, a Husband, a Father, A Friend and the greatest Griz I ever met. We miss you Cal! Flag,Cal and Kylie Day it will forever be....June 14th!

Wild thang!
Kylie's first

Kylie and I went to her first "real" movie in the theaters...Shrek 3. She was pretty good all things considered. We sat in the back row and thank goodness there were only a couple dozen folks there. So we had the row all to ourselves. Well she moved from seat to seat, stand up sit down etc.... She was quiet the whole time which was a good thing. And thank goodness it's a relatively short movie!! So when we left she asked when she could go again....I told her when she turns 4. So I'm safe for a few months.
And on another good note my redecorating is ALL done. Paint is dry and the curtains aka window panels are all hung and look pretty darn good. I chose the cheaper route and got window panels and funky rods from Target. I got Woolrich brand ultra sueded chocolate brown panels for all the windows. The only problem is that our front window is so DARN big that only a custom panel/curtain will actually fit the bill. So the ones we have will work but a little bigger would work better. I love the side windows the best. Where the "bam" wall is painted "creamy brown" aka warm nutmeg and then the chocolate window panels against it looks GREAT! So overall I'm happy! And so glad it's done. Heck adding a little color to your life isn't too hard and it sure looks A LOT better then just plain ol' white!
Well off to walk the doggies.... night!

Thoughts from a slacker....
Geesh! Where have I been? No posts since last Wednesday! How dare I? Well here goes...some reasons to my slacking besides just being too darn lazy! This coming week Nana aka my FREE babysitter is gone to a "class" reunion so I have to get in some work where I can, Kylie is getting her teeth cleaned, haircut AND going to tumbling class ALL on Tuesday (that's tomorrow), and the dogs are getting their hair cut on Thur., story time is Wed. annnnd we a have a play date for Friday AM. Ooooh and I still need to get some kind of window coverings for our newly painted front room otherwise we might die from heat! This past Sunday we went out to the lake to visit Mark and get the Kiwanis Lodge open for the season (Kylie and I ate and waded while others did yard work...oh life with a toddler is so easy some days!). Sat. we were just plain ol' lazy and didn't do much of anything cuz' it's been so DARN HOT! Highs in the 90's and it's only June. Hmmmmm other than housework and laziness nothin' much new goin' on around here. Sure hope your summer is shaping up to be a busy as ours is gonna be. Sorry would've posted some new pictures but the camera is out in the car and you guessed it..... I'm too lazy to go and get it. So now you know we're still alive, Kylie is STILL talking and Mark is still busy with work. So check in, drop me a note or just hang out 'cuz more is still to come from the Munsingers.
