Kylie went to her her first birthday party (other then relatives). Her bestest buddy Hanna (aka Hanna Banana) invited her to the Kritter Corral where they got to pickout an animal of their choice (Kylie chose a purple teddy bear) and "build" it, dress it AND have cake and games too. It was so fun. She named him Tyler.

Things Kylie will say,things she likes etc........

* Any bright yellow vehicle is called a "taxi" car
* "Cool Beans" (gets this from Momma)
* She will eat Tuna sushi (Amazing!) and likes it too.
*ALWAYS has her "usually" when we either go to McD's or Bojangles
* Her "P U" still smells like "nickles and dimes" (see earlier post)???? Still trying to figure this one out!
*She loves to run around at night when she takes her clothes off and yells "naked baby!" or "naked little girl" since she's NOT a baby anymore.
*The kid would eat cheese 24/7 if you'd let her.
*"No way jose" a personal favorite
* Thinks her daddy is still a genius (most days anyway)
*Knows her phone number and Nana's too.
*If you tickle her too much (yes, momma loves to torture her) she "toots"...and this is a common occurence. Boy can this kid "toot" out a STORM!


So there's a little glimpse into Kylie world...some funny some not so funny (sorry!) Oh to be 3 1/2 again.

Kylie had just finished doing her "duty" and I was commanded to come into the bathroom and do mine. Upon entering I commented to her "whooey this is stinky one Kylie" and she replied "yah and it's a big one too! Wanna see?" (Thanks for that part K) and I said "no, but let's turn on the fan all the same." and she then told me "I know momma it smells like nickles and dimes huh?" Where do you think she came up with that one?

So after a particularly LONG day of Kylie's NON stop talking we came to realize that she talks and talks and talks about anything. We honestly think it's just her brain thinking and working with her mouth so it ALL comes out. Sooooo her lies the deep thought. When she does quit talking does it mean her brain has quit thinking? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

This is the picture you get when you take a "lammie" away from a VERY tired three year old! "Smile for the camera!".....Yah right! You have to love the boarding pictures you get on a cruise vacation...most of the time we all look haggard and just want to get on the ship!

So for those of you with a toddler or a little one do you ever get nervous when your child is out of sight and QUIET? Don't get me wrong I love some peace and quiet but every once in a while you call to them and hear.....

Momma: Kylie what are you doing?
Silence................
Momma (again): Kylie WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
Kylie: Nothin'!

Well we BRAVED the mall today and had GREAT success with Kylie's FIRST ever picture on the Easter bunny's lap YEA! Too cute!

We're home!

Well here are the first of many vacation pictures to come. This is Kylie (and a side view of momma) on the plane on our way to Los Angeles. CORRECTION...BLogger won't let me upload and after THREE tries I give up....so pictures to come tomorrow!

We had to leave at "o dark thirty" aka 5 AM for the airport and Kylie was a real trooper. I made some rookie mommy mistakes about what is needed when you travel with a toddler but she behaved super great and had no major meltdowns until the TSA agents said Lammie HAD to go thru the security and not in Kylie's arms...BIG mistake Mister! Oh well some tears were shed and we all survived. We flew from MT. to Salt Lake City then switched to fly onto LA. Where we arrived tired after having gotten up at 3AM! Then come to find out our hotel was RIGHT next to runway 123 at the Long Beach Airport. I'm telling you if we threw a rock hard enough we could've hit a jet Blue plane. Oh well live and learn. So much for the description of being "close" to out port. It was a nice Marriott none the less. We arrived the day before and just hung out at our hotel and swam and napped. Then took a marathon walk in search of a grocery store for some dinner snacks. What's up with neighborhoods in CA??? NO grocery stores are close to them AT ALL! Well we FINALLY found one but I swaer to you it was 2 miles away. So the walk home was a real trudge! But the treats were well worth it. So here ends the first day of our first family vacation as THREE.
