Kylie Update

At 5 years and 6 months:
Kylie is 38.5 pounds, and that is at the 25th percentile for weight.
Kylie is 42 inches, and that is at the 16th percentile for height.
(I still think hemming is in my future!)

I AM alive but....

I am "couch surfing" for now....NO not like this but I had knee surgery last Tuesday and computer time is limited due to comfort, attention span and needing to keep my Oh so swollen knee elevated. But a HUGE THANK YOU goes out to Kylie's Nana and Papa for watching her all week and making life a little less hectic at home. So stayed tune as I have oodles of new pictures to posts of Miss K from practicing on riding her bike without training wheels, Momma's day at Miss K's school, the Daddy Daughter Dance and more more more. So back to "surfing" I will go.....

The "other" Kylie's birthday party

The whole gang. Birthday Kylie is in the green.
Kylie's first time bowling.

We used 'helper' racks to make the balls roll "faster".

The two Kylie's. They go to Preschool together. Our Kylie goes by Kylie Mei in school to help tell them apart.

Palm Sunday

Kylie was so excited her Chinese dress fit. This dress was actually brought home from China for cousin Gracie but she out grew it.
Aren't I pretty?!!!!

Oh well I tried to rotate it and it didn't work...GRRRR! So just turn your head :-) and strike a pose!

Daddy's "no girl's allowed" trip

And to think Daddy COULD HAVE come to the Carribean with Momma and Kylie. Silly Daddy!
But they did FINALLY find some nice weather.

WoW! What a view!

Cool "cave"!

This is where they spent most of their camping trip. Not too bad!

5 things I learned

5 Things Good and Bad that I learned on our trip......
1. I Loved Loved New Orleans and can hardly wait to go back and explore and see our new friends. Trish, Dorothy, Clara and Henry.
And meet the infamous Andy. And I truly admire those who survived and are surviving the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina!
1. I Hate the Gulf of Mexico! Never have I been so seasick in my whole life Aaargh!
2. A No boys Allowed trip is a GREAT idea and everyone should take their child/children away and alone at least once in their life.
2. You can NEVER have too many DVD's when you travel alone with a child!
3. Patiences is a must!
3. Be prepared to laugh lots and sometimes at yourself!
4. I LOVE to cruise! Wait I already knew this!
4. But I wasn't all that impressed with Norwegian.
Ask for more details if you must.
5. I love my daughter more today then I ever thought I could!
5. I can hardly wait to take a "No Kylie allowed' trip next!
