Dreams of a 4 year old

Kylie woke up this AM and crawled into bed with me to snuggle awhile. So I asked her if she had sweet dreams? She said "yes". Then......

Momma...."What did you dream about?"

Kylie..."You and Daddy"

Momma..."And????"

Kylie..."Daddy was sitting in a rocking chair drinking beer (Sorry about this one folks! Her words not mine) and you were sitting beside him."

Momma..."Oh and you were watching us?"

Kylie..."No, I wasn't here yet. I was still in China."

**** Now Momma perks up to really listen****

Kylie..."Daddy was sad because he wanted a baby. And then you said you could go to China and get one. And then you got me."

Momma..."Oh right and then we got OUR Pookie!"

Then........

*****Hug, kiss, squeeze my darling four year old daughter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!******

4 year old check up

Well today was our 4 year old check up for Kylie. All be it a month late..... Well she weighs in at a whopping 32.2 lbs. up from 29.8 last year. Like I told Nana "wouldn't it be nice to only gain a couple of pounds in one years time?!" And she is now 38 3/4" tall up from 36 1/2". So what does this mean?

At 4 years and 1 months:
Kylie is 32.2 pounds, and that is at the 23rd percentile for weight.
Kylie is 38.75 inches, and that is at the 23rd percentile for height.

She is growing normally for her petite size. The Dr. actually said she would be about 6'4" tall and I looked at him???? Oops he meant 64" tall (aka 5'4"). Whew! He had me going for a minute there! So I guess hemming will be in my future :-) Kylie has EXCELLENT eyesight. She came in at 20/30 which is better then 20/20! And only needed 4 shots and she's good till 7th grade Wahooo!

Ok, just ONE more post tonight....

Ok, so I'm trying to get to bed early and not doing such a great job. I just had to add these last couple of pictures of my sleeping angel. She pulls this routine a couple times a week. "I'm not sleepy Momma" and within 5 minutes she's conked out on the couch.

That am I'm tired of the hula music so I'm hoping this post will push it to the archives :-) AloooooHA Oyyyyyy! ENOUGH!

These are a couple of pictures from Kylie's birthday party. We had streamers stretched out from all the "wings" on the ceiling fan to the walls. Well this is what happens when you untape them and turn the fan on and off. Cool huh?! Well Kylie and I thought it was cool!

Well Mark is off at a conference tonight and Nana and Poppa (bless their hearts) have Miss Kylie for a sleepover. So you know what that means....Momma is ALL ALONE! Wahoooo! So this is all you get for now. Still lots of pictures to come and stories about our trip but for tonight I'm gonna put my feet up, watch the tube totally uninterrupted (YEA!) and have some dinner.
