Have I told you lately Daddy......
Tonight I was holding Kylie and we were winding down to do our bedtime routine. When I whispered/told to Kylie "tell Daddy he needs to go and take a shower." (for obvious reasons I must add) But Kylie smiles and looks at Daddy and says "No Daddy you don't need a shower you smell like a rose" Oh my heck....can you believe it. AND she is also the one who CONTINUALLY tells Daddy "You're a genius Daddy"....OY!

Catching up.......
First off......THANK YOU THANK YOU Grandpa and Grandma for taking us all to Hawaii!!!!!
Well we're back from our big family adventure of 10 days in Hawaii with Grandma and Grandpa and my brother, sister in law and 2 nephews and a niece. Whew! What fun we had but it's tough wranglin' 10 people around. All went off without a hitch and my brother's 3 kids (11,8 and 5) were kept in the dark about where they were going until we actually got on the flight for Hawaii out of Seattle. YES, they were clueless even as we boarded the first flight at 5 AM from Spokane AND even after we traipsed them all thru SEA TAC airport AND after we sat for at least an hour at the HAWAIIAN airline gate AND after Kylie was told that we would do something once we got to Hawaii and my 11 year old nephew asked if we were going to Hawaii because they were going to Seattle (we were sitting in the Seattle airport duuuuh?!) AND FINALLY the lights turned on when we boarded the plane and there were Hawaiian movies playing and everyone was saying Aloha. It was tooooo funny. So hats off to everyone for keeping it a secret since May. Even Kylie kept her mouth closed.
We had a great time and the weather was spectacular. Miss K had a good batch of heat rash so we were only letting her swim every other day. But the beach was a blast, the pools were fun and gecko and frog hunting after dark rocked. So stay tuned lots of pictures to come. Even hoping to upload some video of Kylie hula dancing.
AlooooooooooooooooHA!

Whew!!!!!!!!!!
I have to try and dig out from piles at work and get organized for our big trip coming up in less then 2 weeks! Darn ol' jobs really crimp your time huh?! Suitcases here I come!! Kylie is turning the BIG 4 on Monday so party preparations are coming. So lots to do before now and then. Stay tuned for pictures of the festivities. Just having the family and a couple of special friends over for cake and ice cream and then hoping beyond hope the weather holds and we can go to the the pumpkin patch. Kylie has been dying to go ALL year long! C'mon sunshine!!
Another BIG note Kylie is officially OUT of diaps. at night and wearing panties 24/7 Whooooeee! Seriously never thought it would happen (tho' I KNEW it would still hard to believe!). So after a FULL month of being dry we moved into panties and have our fingers crossed!
So there's the diddy for the past couple of days and of the days to come. Hope Fall is beautiful wherever you are.......

How old is she?
Kylie says.......
"Don't worry momma I'll be a teenager before you know it" EEEEEKK!
"Daddy, I Loooove you and you're a genius!"
"Momma QUIT arguing with me"
"Momma the boys at school were being wacky"
"Momma I love you MORE" normally she says "I love you momma" but I always say "No Kylie I love you More" So she has already caught on to that.
"GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I WIN!" what Kylie yells as she races Daddy to the ottoman in the front room for books at night.
"Piggy back, Huggy back, Horsey back or crazy ride" What Kylie tells Daddy of the type of ride she wants to her bed at night. Glad it's him not me!
"I want my usually" Refers to whenever we go to McD's for lunch or what she wants for her breakfast in bed. Yes, she does eat her "first" breakfast in bed (granola/fruit bar, apricots, fruit chews and a vitamin) all while she's snuggling with Mom and Dad and watching cartoons. Next breakfast is after she's dressed and really hungry.
"I was born in China!"
"I'm not going to have a tummy baby. I'm going to China to get my baby like you did Momma. And you're going to help me take care of it"
