New haircuts

Well here is my new haircut from Kylie's point of view. I cut off my hair to chin. And then it went Boing! it's so darn curly now! I cut it off because I was so tired of being HOT and pulling out handfuls from rats and tangles and only wearing it in pony tails or up.
And then Kylie said "Can I cut my hair like momma too?"
Whoo Hooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been trying to get her to cut her hair for a long time. More for the fact she WILL NOT let me put piggy tails or anything in her hair. So what's the point of long hair???????
Voila! New hair for Miss Kylie too. Isn't it Cuuuuuute! She looks so grown up now!

Gotcha Gotcha Gotcha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Three years ago today in a very hot room in Nanchang China a very quiet (where did this quiet child go I ask myself some days!) little 10 mos. girl was handed to her new mommy and daddy for the first time. She just looked at us with her GREAT big brown eyes and wondered. Her momma cried and her daddy just smiled and smiled. The Munsinger family was now complete. We had our Pookie and we could go home. Hence the term "Gotcha Day"...... we Gotcha Kylie and we're never letting you go! But we still had two more weeks of paper shuffle to complete before Miss Kylie Mei Munsinger formerly known as Hui Mei Guo could become a US citizen for good. So today we honor our Pookie and call it Kylie Day and oh yah this other little event Gramma Pirrie's Birthday. This year is a milestone as it's her "medicare" birthday. All those of you old enough to know will know how old she really is :-) Happy Birthday Mom! and Happy Kylie day to the Munsingers. We love you Kylie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's been a FAST 3 years!

Here's to the three other sweeties from Kylie's Orphanage in Guixi....Kira and Sophie. We're thinking of you both today!

Kylie and her cousin Gracer aka Gracie

Playing in the backyard sprinklers. Kylie loves to wear her goggles so she can keep her eyes open.

Kylie playing basketball at sports camp last week. She LOVED it! they got to play Bball, Tball, and soccer.

Which does she like best? "All of them momma!"

Catch up.....

Did I tell you how HOT is was gonna be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We're usually in the low to mid 80's this time of year!!!!!!!!!!!!Arghhhhhhhhhhh!
Yes folks, we're warmer then Honolulu, Miami and almost as hot as Orlando Florida and we're in MONTANA!

Splaaaaash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just "chillin'" with my cuz'!

Well good news! I AM STILL ALIVE and still lovin' boot camp. Tho' I am walking more upright I STILL have sore places I never knew could be sore. And tomorrow is track day EEEEK! Sorry this is so far behind but with all the heat we're having I am feeling so uninspired aka LAZY! So not much computer time is happenin' at our house (except when Kylie bundles up to play her computer games or something. The A/C is running NON stop in my office so it's COOOOLD in here!). All we're trying to do is stay cool! So bear with us. More interesting stuff to come I promise or at least hope! Enjoy the pictures of Kylie and her cuz' Ganten trying to stay cool in the pool.

4th of July parade

All dressed for the parade. "Let's go!"
Grandpa's fire truck. We call it "Big Red" And she makes an appearance 3 times a year for the 4th of July, the Fair and the Christmas parades.

Every little boy wants to have their own fire engine...right?
Daddy's 1970 Buick Riviera "ooooh aaaah!" or as Kylie calls it "The BIG Green Car"

Waving to the crowd.

It was a GREAT parade...weather was HOT HOT HOT and lots of people still made it out. The streets were lined all the way down. We left right afterward and went camping for two nights at the lake. Then Kylie and I came home to the coolness of our house and a shower (AND more importantly the circus...pictures to follow). While Mark stayed out two more nights to do some "Male bonding!" Grunt grunt urp!

Did I forget to mention that it's been HOT HOT HOT and with no end in sight (90-100's!)! Thank goodness we have this old A/C from my dad that's getting a BIG workout.
